Well.. I just warrantied my phone and the one I got back no longer has the default SPC like the last one did. Can someone help me out here?

Model: 3586i

Or if you could link me up to a code generator with the USCellular algo it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Why do you need the Unlock Key? And why are you disclosing it? It's against policy, check OLR.

actually there us no formula.

the only way to access the sub-lock codes is to be an employee of us cellular. we have an online tool that we enter the ESN and it gives us the lock code.

so......it is not accessible to the public. ☹️

This is SORT of true... It is a set formula, for example, you COULD figure it manually, if you knew the method of how it is done. Cellcom adds 2 to each of the last 6 numbers of the ESN, then reverses them. There IS a formula, getting it is the challenge.

Looks like I'll just have to sit down and really study it.

Thanks anyway.

Why are you giving out that information? You don't even know why someone wants the unlock code.

Not to mention the fact it's against policy.

I have A question. Why does every body care about policy. We arn't at work. were not handing out info to possible sales. What are you going to do tell on them that would require finding out who they are good luck with that. And on a side note who cares what they are doing with the phones THAT THEY BOUGHT.

i can't believe you just said that. part of being in this DO (laugh if you will) is carrying company policy off the clock. company policy is JUST THAT - co. policy. you should not be giving out private information regardless. that's why we care. if you say that, then you are pretty much saying that once you're not at work, you're free to disclose any sort of private information. in that case, we could be giving out numbers calls, info on accounts, and you're saying that this is no big deal?!
