lg vx 6100

i just got a lg vx 6100 on 5/6/05.i keep reading post that say that the rf is not very good on that phone & then i will see post that says it has good rf. i just want to know the truth is the rf good or bad. if it is bad rf i want to return the vx 6100 this week & get another brand of phone maybe a moto ? 😕 😕

I don't think there is an absolute "truth" about the RF on any particular phone, in most cases. You have to test it yourself. That's why there is a 30-day trial period for new equipment. Go to places you often visit and see for yourself how the phone performs. People in different areas of the country may not have the same experience you will have.

If it doesn't stand up to YOUR tests, then return it.

Couple things-

most of the posts have been from Verizon customers, NOT USCC customers

I have had this phone for a few months and have yet to drop a call. My roommate also has it and she travels back to a backwater town and hasn't had any issues

Most of my customers absolutely love it and say it's the best phone they've ever had. One took it up to the UP and it worked great.

I've only had 1 customer bring it back- she lived in a very small town and the phone worked fine in town, but in some of the back roads where the reception is always crappy she couldn't hold a signal, so she exchanged for a V262 and likes it.

So... read it how you'd like. It probably depends on where you live. If you live in a fringe area maybe get a ...
