Question about the data plan on the Touch Pro.
I really like the Touch Pro and want to know how much would the data plan be? I know theres different kinds but could I get the cheapest one? And if so how much would it be? Im in chicago.
And also, one of my friends is selling his for $100 to me, so would I just be able to go to a store and just tell them to switch my service from one phone to the other easily? would they even make me get the data plan since im not buying the phone? Thanks.

The data plan for the TP is 24.99 a month, and even if you buy it used, you will still need the data plan, as it is considered a smartphone, and thus requires a smartphone package before USCC will activate it.

So there is absolutely no way to get around the $25 a month charge? ☹️

Unfortunately, no...with USCC right now, you have two options for the Windows Mobile pricing (as per http://www.uscellular.com/uscellular/SilverSt ream/Pages/x_page.html?p=wm_home)
-Windows mobile data package with voice - 24.95/month on top of voice package
-Windows mobile data only (no voice) - 29.95/month
Personally I can't see any reason why anyone would want the data only, since you then can't make phone calls, but to each their own...
