EVDO in Eastern NC
Apparently the EVDO network has just hit Eastern NC and it sucks! Text messages come through 2 hours later, they send 2 hours later... Calls come through and the phone doesn't ring...
Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem like this? There are several people I know experiencing these problems.

EVDO has been in Eastern NC about 3 weeks now, I haven't had the problems you've been having, maybe it depends on where your located. I travel up and down the east coast and have noticed anything different yet, I also don't text heavy either. I assume you've done the *228 to update phone.

Have done the *228. It's not only with the texting, I know a couple people whose phones have just straight up said "No Service" Everywhere!

Wow! That's not good, don't know what to tell ya, I haven't or been around anyone yet with those problems. If I hear anything I'll post it here.

Have you talked to Customer Service yet? If there are areas that have coverage issues or phones that are not working, they need to know. I would get in touch as quickly as you can.

Not saying that you are not having any problems but.. I live in Wilmington and it works great here hell I have even sold 4 data cards this week! YES Call Tech support so they can put in a trouble ticket you may even need new software on the phone

Yeah, Customer Service has been called and they have no idea what the problem is. I have a phone that doesn't have the EV on the top.. Not sure if it has switched over yet, but it works awesome. Places where those with the EV on the top can't get service, I can!
