uscc or verizon?
dj111Nov 18, 2008, 5:06 PM
which is better? 😳
...
both companies have their benefits i guess. Verizon has the "cool" phones, but once the contract is signed, they sort of stop their customer service.
USCC definately has the better customer service both before and after you are a customer. they have some neat phones, but not nearly the variety that verizon has because USCC has a rigorous testing program for potential phones, and a lot of phones are simply turned down because they dont meet standards set by USCC.
want a cool phone? go with verizon
want to be treated awesome and know you will always have a working phone no matter what? go with USCC
it's up to you really.
...
Always???? I love uscc, but you do have to admit that there have been quite a few phones lately that have not met our high quality standards. Razr2...cough...chough...rokr...cough.. 👿

Dont forget the multiple issues already with the VE 20. If you stay away from Motorola and get an LG you are better off. Or even a samsung
...
any issues with the VE20 is news to me. only complaint i've seen about it is the single plate keypad. i definately wouldnt reccomend LG, the 260 has software problems out the yin yang, and the 830 is just meh now that the delve is out. anything US cellular puts out is better than verizon recalling a phone with an unfixable bug that should have never been released in the first place.

Verizon.
Dont believe the hype of the people drinking the USCC koolaid. Verizon does the same if not more testing on their phones, and the customer service at USCC has been sliding for the last few years.
...
I would go with verizon uscc phones do not work for a crap. they break all of the time and are unreliable.

verizon:
neat phones.
the features are nice to have like vcast.
good national coverage.
uscc:
good phones.
great coverage in the calling area.
great customer service.
when tough economic times hit and people want to down grade services who will be there for the customers? uscc
and when it comes down to it THEY ARE CELL PONES FOR CALLING PEOPLE. all other things are just the gravy.
