Okay I transferred 3 phone lines about 3 weeks ago. Those phones keep getting text messages and such.
This LAST billing cycle I was stuck with a $3000 bill yes that’s right THREE THOUSAND! I’m not mad at all because they took care of it because it was in their error.
Here is my BEST guess and MAYBE someone can expound/clarify/explain this.
2 Phones were switched from RAZRS to Q’s so we needed the unlimited data package.
If you haven’t guessed yes those EXTRA charges were for easyedge.
Did or are my RAZRS somehow still in the USCC system and if so why the hell are they still listed as active and pulling charges?
I am going to ask USCC but I wanted to see if someone on here has had this problem and new why this ââ‚...

nah the problem is that the sales person that sold you the Q's forgot to take you off EE pay as you go 1 cent/kb or easy edge teir $3/mb (probably not teirred ee because it caps at thirty bucks) the sales person should have added the windows mobile unlimited service for $25 bucks. I know your thinking that you data wouldn't work on your Q without windows mobile service that the fact of the matter is that EE access gives you the same data network access as windows mobile service. Long story short is that you had pay as you go ee so every time you got on the web with your phone or sent email uscc charged you 1 cent for every kilobyte of transmission.

Actually that explanation is incorrect. The USCC billing system will not permit a Motorola Q to be added to an account without the $25 Mobile Data service. The system also requires the sales rep to remove any previous EE packages as well. It's not possible to have EE packages on the account with an active Q.

Without seeing the account I cannot comment on where those charges may have originated, but they were not do to a feature error on the part of the sales rep.

Hmm well then I'll chalk it up to a "glitch" somewhere out there in the stream of CDMA data. I did deprogram the (RAZR) phone though so I don't know if that will help. I suppose I will know when the 18th of next month comes aroun...

dude ringtone you obviously don't work for a corporate store or you would know that isn't ture. if you work for an agent remeber you have a systems that doesn't let you do jack crap. Our system will not make you removed ee because it is the same exact feautre the only thing different is the picture msg service and that just has to be changed to legacy picture msg with pay as you go ee. ALso you don't have to add windows mobile service at all to the account, uscc even setup a specific report that is ran to see what accounts have motorola Q's on them without windows mobile service. If you do work for a corporate store you need to get better educated on system flaws and how the can effect customers!

Whether you are working on the corporate side or the agent side, you can't have two cell phones activated for the same phone number. EE service does not work on the Moto Q, and it IS company policy that all Moto Qs and other smartphones have a data plan attached. Voice is optional. The report is simply looking for mistakes, not to track who has data and doesn't in general terms. On the corporate side, you can't save a customer's changes on the account without putting the SOC in for Moto Q data. So the report really is only looking at agent activations of the Moto Q to find where mistakes were made. And I did used to work for an agent...corporate's system is so much better! AIM is nice for the point and click, but making changes is ext...
