MOTOROLA Q - WHAT WILL USCELL ALLOW US TO DO?

What will US Cellular restrict in this phone. It took until the Krzr and the modified Razr phones to allow us to download mp3's which in turn allowed us to make our own ringtones.

With the Q coming out, will it be full internet service? Can we use the Q as a mp3 player and if so will they allow ua to use a data cable without restrictions.

I love US Cellular's phone packages as well as the service. I'll sacrifice the fact that the phones that they have are introductory phones that other companies had two years ago.

I just want to be able to use all of the features of the phone that I choose. If they polled customers, they would find that we want calls and amenities. They should concentrate on what Easy edge offers instead of restric...

Well so far Verizon Wireless launched the Motorola Q9m which allows Vcast and a host of other features.
I give Verizon Kudos because they are trying to keep one step ahead of the competition as far as technology. 🤨
The Q9 for Verizon has Windows Mobile v6.0 while USCC Q has Windows Mobile v5.0. 🙄 ☹️ As of now, I haven't researched to much on the differences between the two but with an upgrade I'm sure there are some differences.
As far as internet services, I'm sure since USCC has their "easyedge" there might not be "FULL" internet services like with most other carriers. That's just speculation. I think easyedge is kinds bogus because just about everything costs unless you get it on the first Tuesday of every month. :roll...

yes, however, if you text through your email server, there is no charge for that, so you can drop your unlimited txting (14.95)
Plus you can't do easy edge, so (9.95)..... Basically, its a wash, costs you no more than any other cool phone, and does soooooo much more.

The more I read the more I don't want... I suppose we will see the REAL DEAL when it's released unless these people who are posting are "Motorola" people. 😁 🙂
IF so thank you all for the information.

Fully capable for browsing. Nothing has been restricted.

$24.95 data is mandatory with use of the device.

$100 price after rebate is a steal but my money still goes with the BlackBerry 8830.

Is this device WiFi compatible with A, B or G bands?

If so, is the Windows Mobile I.E. active?
