Silver.

Get it if you are looking for a Windows platform to work from and don't rely on consistent email delivery.

If you rely on prompt dependable email... get the BlackBerry 8830. Its a better looking phone too.

yeah I agree the Q is worthless and does not perform like it should. It does use windows could be why. I heard it had a problem with MMS too! Don't know if they fixed it! That was a windows thing too!

True - MMS does not function as usual, you need to attach it to a email and send it.

Note: Stability can be increased by opening the task manager in the system tools folder and manually killing programs you are not using at the time. If you simply back out of a program, it will stay running in the background and of course too much running the system locks.

not silver.

I have both the dummy and a live sitting next to me.

Personally I think this color looks alot better then plain old silver.

Being that the Q has yet to come out and only the USCell stores have the Q to mess with, would it be worth getting it? My buddy has the Blackberry and loves it but only the USCell reps can comment on the Q. I really like the camera feature on the Q, plus the keys on the Blackberry are tiny. I guess this is why I'm favoring the Q.

it sounds like your buddy has been sucked in the crackberry world and for good reasons! if the camera the only reason your getting the q for then your in big trouble my friend! although im a microsoft fan i dont like the fact that this q is not mobile 6.0 so basically your buying the old q version everyone complained about ...the email setup for the q is horrible and you might not get it at all and the internet is quick but not as accurate as the bb and it tends to freeze up alot.... ive never been a blackberry fan till i tested out the 8830 and man did it blow me away...i will be purchasing as soon as i can upgrade in a few weeks....finally BB made it non-business friendly and the bb data plan is far superior than the q plan. you can always...

betwen 20 and 25 dollars....but lots of annoying cons that comes with it....
Con 1: There is no copy and paste feature on this phone. Even though it doesn't have a touch screen...copy and paste is possible. The Blackberry 7130e can perform a copy and paste and it doesn't have a touch screen. (This is just a sign of poor software programming...uscc or motorola should have insist that Microsoft fix this error before putting this is the customers hands to trouble shoot for them)

Con 2: When you receive a text message from somebody that sends it to you from an e-mail account...you can't reply unless you follow this crazy procedure: type in the To Field, then type their e-mail address in the next line (remember...copy and paste doesn't exist ...

The Motorola Q with Windows Mobile 6.0 is a Microsoft friendly feature rich solutions. When integrated into your Active Directory/Exchange 2007 infrastructure, your concerns have been addressed.

Con1 resolve: Standard feature.

Con2 resolve: Allow for recipient list and groups just as you would have when sitting at your desk using Outlook.

The more I read the more I don't want... I suppose we will see the REAL DEAL when it's released unless these people who are posting are "Motorola" people. 😁 🙂
IF so thank you all for the information.
