I Don't Know If This Is Possible But.....

Is there any way, any way at all, that I could get the new ROKR when (or after) it comes out with a discount and NOT extend my contract??? ๐Ÿ˜ณ I've had USCC since June '06 and I had my RAZR V3c replaced once under warranty, and am in the process of an insurance claim to get my second one replaced ๐Ÿ‘ฟ .(!)

But i really want the ROKR, and not have to pay full price and not extend. Is this at all possible. ๐Ÿ˜•

Thanks in advanced! ๐Ÿ˜

It looks like around Feb 07 is the soonest you can reup, by then the discounts will be better for it also and you may decide that you want the new Razr2 instead.

Just hit EBay. You will see it on there very soon after release. And they run about 1/2 off the retail price in the store. All my phones have come from EBay. I have been doing it now for 3 years. Just make sure it's US Cellular! Take it in and boom, new phone. Transfer over your phone book and you are all set. Not worries, no cost, and no contract!

The only "no ebay phone" policy I know of is if the phones are not US Cellular then they will not activate it. Anyway how could they tell? Are there any counterfeit US Cellular phones on Ebay??

I don't know about counterfeit, but I do know that some vendors on Ebay will tell you it's a USCC phone, when it's really a stripped out Verizon phone and will revert back to programing eventually. Just be carefull.

whos " the guy? " I haven't heard anything about a "no ebay" policy. There would be no way for us, the carrier to know where the phone came from. It will show up as "private" and for all we know it was insurance, or your bought it from a friend.
I don't see any plausible way they could instate a "no ebay" policy, unless the person just came in and said hey this is ebay phone, i want to activate it..... "
and if it was a uscellular phone (legitimate) it wouldn't be very good business if we didn't activate it.
