new phone! Not!
This is what we have been waiting for?
I see the Kyocera K325 listed for USC. 1900mhz only- its a freaking pay phone! What is USCC thinking?
mean while Verizon users get the Moto Maxx....

US Cellular will never have the latest or the greatest phones. They cannot command first-run production, specific colors or specific specs since they have less than 6 million customers which provides them zero credibility against the major carriers. Everything is after the buzz wears down (RAZR, KRZR) and when a specific handset is created by USCC its a complete failure (LG5550). This cycle will never change. If you want a cool phone and a quality carrier choose Verizon or ATT.
ussc can & could do better in the phone line up if they chose to but they want every dollar that they can get out of people so they weight until phones come down a lot to buy them.then uscc add's 100.00 to every pho...

While it is true that USCC dosent have the clout that the larger carriers have the comment about it never changing is false. I recently spoke with my Samsung rep about this very situation and he informed me of som...

USCC will still be carrying LG products but they will be "introductory" handsets. More than likely talk tracker phones. But you are right that they will not be carrying any high end phones.
I'm surprised that USCC is dropping some high end LG models. I know most LG models they got were models that weren't even made for Verizon Wireless, but might have been for Alltel though. As for Samsung, I believe USCC had little choice after Nokia stopped making CDMA phones, and now only sells rebadged Pantech phones for the CDMA lineup, and Verizon Wireless is stupid enough to carry those phones. But it's good that USCC is slowly adding Samsung to their lineup.

I wonder how the Quaalcom situation is going to effect not only USCC but the other CDMA and 3G carriers..... If they don't get that straightened out pretty quick, we may all be talking on 3 yr old phones soon!
I believe it'll be straightened out by the time my VZW contract is up. By that time, I'll have the option of staying with them, or changing to USCC, should I not like my VZW service in Wisconsin. But for now, I won't get them since they don't have native coverage in all of Lake County Indiana, and would roam at least 50% of the time, just in Lake County Indiana, due to USCC not having coverage over Cedar Lake & Lowell Indiana (Cedar Lake where I travel into everyday when I go to work i...

But I believe the problem will be resolved by that time. If the problem with Qualcomm doesn't get resolved in the near future, it'll be those in either out of contract, or near the end of their contracts that might still be on older phones.
but the free incoming calls, text, and pics is great. Theres 4 people on our contract with 800 minutes and we usually have a lot leftover at the end of the month! And the customer service is great, too.

They have a good network up there from what people have told me. Verizon allows in-market roaming on USCC in Wisconsin due to VZW's own network being PCS only (from my experience only good in and around Milwaukee & Madison markets, but rural areas suck big time), and is not up to par outside of the major cities. Also USCC only has 1 SID for southern Wisconsin (SID 5), and it includes areas that VZW...
