Samsung Galaxy S5

Does anyone know if TMO is getting both the 16G and 32G versions? Also, how about the various colors other than the black and white?

Galaxy S5 SM-G900T n Battery life

I JUST have Galaxy S5 SM-G900T and the first thing I did was buy a case and backup battery. The trend towards smart and large screen results in fragile and fast battery drainage. The new battery off MPJ lasted through one and half days , but YMMV.

Phone Price Structure

What does everyone think of the new phone price structure? Basically, paying full price for the phone, but over the course of 24 months. We can no longer get a discount phone because TMO has done away with contracts.

I understand we pay a down-payment, then pay every months for 24 months, but I have never ever paid full price for a phone.

Does this apply to loyalty customers that have been with TMO for 14 years?

Thinks of Switching to Tmo from Sprint In Denver

HI All,

New here.
I was wondering what the TMO service is like in Denver and the Southern and Western suburbs.
Also if anyone knows what the service is like between Denver and Glenwood Springs.
I have Sprint now, and I am in an area where we have their 4g LTE. Problem is now we have LTE, but we drop calls like crazy.
Thanks in Advance for you suggestions

Omnipoint, Voicestream,T-Mobile

Very limited network outside of major towns and metro areas like Sprint. Use a detailed coverage map to make sure you have service wherever you go.

If anyone has the Note 3, they might be interested in this. . . ... »

It's a protective case, and has a whopping 10,000mah battery, all the bases are covered in this case, and it isn't as much as you might think.

T-Mobile Issues

My parents have a plan with T-Mobile where they got trapped into an additional two year contract just because they changed the number of minutes in their plan. In the previous plan they were out of contract, month to month.

Since we were moving we changed out minutes and just because of that we got trapped in a new two year contract. Now, the signal that we have is so bad that it is impossible to use any of our phones. It seems like, no matter where we go the signal sucks and if we do somehow magically connect it is a really crappy connection and only lasts a little while.

Not only did they put us into a new contract but they didn't inform us that we were being put into a new contract and there was nothing going along with it. We only ...

Sim unlock ?

I'm thinking of going on vacation in a couple of months, and i wanted to use a pre paid sim card. But when I talked to T-mo they said the phone needs to be paid off before they can unlock the sim. I know there is sites out there that will do it, but I really don't wanna pay 30$ for them to do it. is there anyway i can get it unlocked for free ?

thanks for the advcie Smile

Say it ain't so.

I have my new Galaxy Note 3. I have full bars of coverage on TMobile's 4G network and I'm sitting here trying to watch some Netflix and it won't stream due to the network being too slow. So I download a speedtest app and I am getting .83 down and 1.46 up.

Am I missing something here? I switched from Sprint and was expecting a better experience than this.

cell phone newbie

I've just gotten an Alcatel Fierce and need to know where to go to learn how to use it! My learning style requires hands on instruction vs reading a manual and being able to do it.

Q3 1 Million Adds!

This is awesome. If they can keep the momentum into the typically good 4th quarter T-Mobile becomes a real contender in wireless.

Give the people what they want and apparently they will come to you.

T-Mobile Coverage in Charlotte, NC - 28277

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to find out how many of you guys use T-Mobile in Charlotte North Carolina (South Charlotte, Piper Glen area), near the Stone Crest shopping center?

I wanted to gauge your network speeds on 4G LTE using the app or something similar. I want to get an idea, if this carrier serves me at my apartment complex (Piper Station), whereas Sprint's 4G only delivers 0.5-1Mbps in my apartment, on my GN2. I am constantly having to rely on TWC's in home WiFi for a decent connection.

I am itching to pull the trigger, and get the new GN3. Please post your screenshots, as I would love to hear from you, and any experiences you have had with the carrier.

Thanks a million,
JE Very Happy

T-mobile Galaxy S2 battery

Own S2 for years already…but due to some personal reasons not going to retire it yet ( anyone else??) Now its poor battery life is the major issue… but most add way too much weight and the phone that feels like a brick, right? But instead of buying a new one, get extra hours for a couple of extra weight on the back, worth it.

Got an additional 3900 mAh which is an 185% boost over the standard I9300 2100 mAh battery now. and it comes with a replacement battery back cover to accommodate the extra size in Black (Grey and White). Unfortunately, due to the added bulk of the battery, I have to shop around for cases that fit on this battery.
The replacement back fits perfectly, and the camera is now less likely to get scratched in my pocket....

Thinking of switching

I am currently with Sprint. But I am getting tired of their slow 3G network and the lack of 4G. Half the time I can't even use my iphone, because the internet doesn't work. I wanted to know anyone that has T-mobile in New York what the service is like, and what average internet speeds you are getting. Also do you think it is worth to switch from Sprint to T-mo ? I would go with Verizon, but I need the unlimited data and don't wanna pay that much.

Thanks for the help Smile

Anyone Else Noticed Tmobile Censors Picture Messaging, and Emails

Anyone Else Noticed T-mobile Censors Picture Messaging, and Emails

My wife was shopping and sent me a private pic as she was trying on clothes. The Picture never came through on my phone even though it said sent on hers. Then she sent one fully clothed and that came through no issues.

Fast forward to another incident same thing the Private pic did not come through, even after trying to send it via email...

I also noticed it happen when I tried to send a pic to dropbox.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen the same thing.

t-mobile refill cards

i bought a t-mo no-contract phone a while back and it came with a refill card and i have a few questions about the cards.

1) i am a contract customer and have no use for the refill card, is there any way to use this towards my contract account?

2) can i use it for anything else (i.e. like a pay per use data plan if such a thing exists)?

3) are there any other companies that will honor t-mobile refill card cash?

4) is there some place where one can check the balance of the card (i haven't used it but it is about a year old, should still be good right?)?
