I just bought a fusic yesterday and downloaded one ringtone this afternoon. It shows up in My Content but there is no sound whatsoever so when I set it as my ringtone the phone doesn't ring when there's a call. Called tech support and they said to delete it then go back online to My Downloads (or whatever) and re-save it. Dont know yet if this will work.

I got an exchange and it did the same thing two times. When I downloaded newer songs they work fine but when I download an older song it doesnt play. It definetly is the software for the phone not the phone itself. Nobody in tech support know what is wrong though.

I joined a site called freeringers.net. It costs 7.99 for lifetime membership. You can create ringtones for any phone from any sound file in any format. You follow their instructions and download whatever software is needed from them free (my security software has found no adware/spyware involved). You then have complete control over what songs you use. There's literally no limit. You can also create wallpapers, or download ones other members have created. It's very easy, and it definitely works with the Fusic.
I'm not being paid to pass this on.
BTW, if you decide to use this site, the Fusic uses MP4 ringers - probably why you can't use the MP3 files on your memory card as ringers.

I've been using a small, local company for my wireless services for more than a year now, and their MMS messaging setup has always allowed me to send my own music files (ringtones) and graphics directly from the e-mail on my home computer to the inbox on my phone. From that point, the "save and set as" process is a snap. True customization is an absolute must for me, as I'm totally uninterested in 80% of mainstream pop culture (read: sir, you can take your Nelly ringers and shove 'em, I'd rather use the default bbbrrrriinng bbrrrrinngg sound), but still have my heart set on carrying a phone that reflects my favorites.

The highest-end handset with Previously Mentioned Wireless Company is the Moto RAZR -- not a bad phone, of course, ...

I make ringtones on my own and upload them to my Fusic phone through an uploader that I customized. You guys are free to use it... http://www.sleazyb.com/cell/ works perfect on the Fusic phone.

If you want to make your own ringer, I suggest that you make it around 15 seconds in length. Also, make sure that it isn’t of CD quality… lower the bitrate to adjust for the quality of the speaker on the phone. Just mess with it, you’ll get it.
