Is It Your Type Body Three S's

Our In Depth review of LG's stylish and unique new 3G music phone for Sprint. NEW: Video Tour

For years US users have been forced to make a choice: they could either buy a phone that has up-to-date style or up-to-date technology. The LG Fusic for Sprint no longer forces you to make that choice. The only choice you'll have to make if you get a Fusic is what color faceplate you feel like putting on today. There's a color for almost every mood or style.

The Fusic will satisfy almost every Sprint user from the new subscriber to the power user. It is easy to use, but explore the menus and you will find almost every feature imaginable for a mid-priced, or even high-priced, phone. Plus, LG managed to pack all those features into a slim, sleek and somewhat iPod-inspired form that's easier on your pockets than most other handsets.

Ringtones

Does anyone know if you can set the songs downloaded on to your mini sd card to be ringtones??? Comment back please...
Im almost positive that you cant.
...
YES you can do ringtones. I've added a bunch. There is a specific way. I only know it for macs. I use Quick Time Pro. You can also use GarageBand and ITunes.

The phone does not accept mp3. However, if you create a m4p and rename it to a m4a, then ...

RIngtone Issue

Is anyone having a problem with downloading ringtones on this phone? It saying it is downloaded but when you go to listen there is nothing available. Ive updated my software and profile but still nothing.
I just bought a fusic yesterday and downloaded one ringtone this afternoon. It shows up in My Content but there is no sound whatsoever so when I set it as my ringtone the phone doesn't ring when there's a call. Called tech support and they said to de...

I make ringtones on my own and upload them to my Fusic phone through an uploader that I customized. You guys are free to use it... http://www.sleazyb.com/cell/ works perfect on the Fusic phone.

If you want to make your own ringer, I suggest that yo...

Coming to Verizon soon?

Verizon should offer this phone soon.

The price is way to high tho. On sprints website its $180

thats was too much for a stupid cell phone.

it should be $100 then i'd buy it
hahaha you think thats high for a 1.3MP camera, evdo, tv, and everything. try buying a 9000, 940, 920, and a900.

i got a 9000 for 230 dollars WITH 2 YEARS.

😈

so its better then any others, plus sprint is better then verizon once yo...

Custom background image?

So am I reading the PS review right? You cannot specify your own image to use as the background on this phone? That kind of stinks if that's true.

phone jack?

headphone?

how well does the external speakerphone work?
It has the smaller jack on the phone itself, but it comes with a remote with with a bigger jack for regular headphones (also included - 2-earbud style).

The reviewer look liked they used bluetooth headphones.

Also like the reviewer noted, the ex...

"2" Music Players?

I do not understand why this is mentioned as a "feature" for the LG, as every single MOD-capable Sprint handset has "2" players.
just because every music on demand sprint phone has it, doesn't mean it's not worth talking about. every phone has text messaging but we review that as well.

as a mac user, i'm just happy sprint offers me a way to play my own mp3s since i can't loa...

lol....

This phone is the most redundant thing that I have ever seen! Come on it changes colors and that is all you guys are worried about. Its a phone for crap sake. People if you want a phone that changes face plates, then find one that does that. Dont buy one that just focuses on that alone.

FM Transmitter

Sorry boys, but I disagree w/ you on what was said about the range of the FM modulator.

I've gotten over 10 feet of range from it, so it does depend on the location of the antenna, and the strength of the FM antenna you are trying to transmit over.

Otherwise, fairly accurate review. πŸ™‚
I haven't used this phone with this feature yet, but I thought most car antennas are wired into the radio (sorry for the sarcasm) and usually as long as it's near the actual radio (on the dash, in the cup holder, etc.) even if it's a weak signal, it w...

Media Player Volume

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn up the volume when you are watching clips in the media player? The media player volume is much lower than the music player on my Fusic and I was just wondering if this may be a network problem and not the in the phone itself.

D-Pad is similar to scroll wheel.

The video states that the scroll wheel cannot be used like the iPod scroll wheel. If you spin your finger around the D-Pad you can use it to navigate outside display menus like the iPod can, scrolling songs ect.

Perfect for Two-Device professionals

Small and thin like a Razr, but still has tons of features. (especially after Sanyo dashed my hopes of a good phone with the Katana)

I carry an MM7400 which I am absolutely in love with, but I am tired of the stigma of people seeing two devices on my belt. (I wear dress slacks, and pretty thin... So a 7400 in my pocket is a bit unseemly. lol )

I'm picking this up today, so I'll post what I think about it.
i can see how if you have a data-centric device you have to carry, this would be an excellent choice for voice and light data or entertainment. and it does slip nicely into your pocket. once you've had some time with it, please take a minute to post a...

D-Pad Shortcuts

The review states that the D-Pad shortcuts cannot be changed, but they can.

Menu/Settings/Setup Others/Shortcuts
That's what I thought.

thanks for pointing this out. i've updated the article to note this ability. it's a shame features like this are buried deeply in obscurely named menus. that goes back to my main complaint about the fusic. simple features are easy to find and use, but...
