Verizon Confirms $30 Unlimited Plan for iPhone, Cuts $15 Option
Replying to: This isn't really bad for AT&T... by JeffdaBeat
We've seen lots more people go to a smartphone based on data plan pricing alone. I find it helps my employees commission. Yes, you lose $5/smartphone BUT I find it's offset by additional sales.
The people that ACTUALLY use more than 2GB of data per month are far and few between. I'm sure someone will try to argue that point with me, but will lose.
Besides, what good is unlimited when you're on VZW's slow 3G network? As the HSPA+ starts turning up, and throttles are released, you'll see existing 3G phones fly on AT&T. I can get 5 Mbps on an iPhone 4 consistently where I'm at. Folks that switch are going to be surprised at the difference...
