Best Buy Offers Buyer's Remorse Protection with 'Buy Back'

So this is how it works, 2 examples:

Sprint Customer:

So as a Sprint Premier customer you can upgrade once a year. You go to Best Buy and get your new HTC EVO on contract for 199.99. Add 59.99 for buy back, but since I want my device protected I than get Buy Back for 29.99. A year passes ans there is a new EVO that retails for 199.99. I give Best Buy my old EVO and they give me 325 dollars. Now I have a new EVO and 125 extra in my pocket to buy accessories.

Verizon Customer:

My phone just went out and I need a new phone now, I am hearing rumors there is an iPhone 4 coming out on Verizon but there is no confirmation and I need a phone today. I upgrade to the HTC Incredible since Best Buy is selling the device for free. I pay 59.99 for the Buy Back but I do not want protection since I will not keep this phone fore long. Verizon announces the iPhone 4 and I want to get it, I sell it back to Best Buy for 300 dollars.

Now you can say sell the Incredible on ebay but even on ebay a used Incredible sells foe 220 -300 and I have to cover shipping and ebay fees.
