I checked out a Palm Pre before I picked up my Evo and WebOS was impressive indeed but the device was ugly and felt like cheap plastic in my hand. Palm is no longer relevant. They had their day. I owned a Treo before my Crackberry and was quite fond of their devices but it's over. Let them die already. HP can't and won't save them. HTC probably could have but still it just didn't catch on.

It appears that you seem to so threatened by Android just like Steve Jobs. Just the mere mention of it and you can see Jobs' veins pop out of his neck

I love my new Evo btw. 4g coverage is so-so but overall reception is great. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and so glad I didn't become one of the sheep. I was tempted by the iPhone 4 but I didn't fall for the hype. The Evo rocks!

Palm is dead. webOS is irelevant, HP ain't gonna save em, Verizon couldn't even give Pixi's away for free, blue's an self-righteous pompous jacka$$ who thinks he knows what he's talking about and I'm about to enjoy a nice Italian dinner on this nice warm evening. My Evo will accompany me as well and I'll be tethering it to my netbook later after my dinner.
