Google is the Microsoft of cell phones.

Except they are stealing from more than just Apple.

Palm and HP are sure to have some issues with this.

I think when person quits a company they should be free to do anything! What NBC did to Conan was a bunch of !!BS!! He should be free to be on tv, it shouldn't be NBCs place to tell anybody they can't be on another network til a certain time, NBC can only tell someone they can't be on their network!!!

Well I think it does stink what NBC did to Conan, but it's not like Conan just quit- they paid him a hefty termination fee, and that was part of the stipulation.

But the reason non-compete clauses exist is to keep individuals from getting poached when they're working on vital projects to your company.

I couldn't see them not having a no compete clause, but if he's going to Google there must have been some loophole or fine print that let him out of it.
