why is ATT allowing voip calls over the network? makes no sense. I bet they are getting a cut of the monthly fees from vonage. Vonage should offer free nationwide and international calls over voip. Voip startups like http://www.callarc.com are offering free international calls.

I agree...if you've noticed. On one hand they're crying "our network cant handle blah blah blah" so they tack on fee's and dont allow you to do things like tethering, not for free anyways. On the other hand here they are allowing VOIP which on good voice quality can take a butt load of bandwidth. Sounds kinda goofy if you ask me. It's obvious if you pay them enough, all of the sudden their network is fine all.
