so, it's absolutely obvious that Verizon has the bigger 3G coverage map across the USA.

what ATT is trying to do is denounce (all be it anecdotally) Verizon's dominion over the whole ordeal.

it's kind of like having two siblings, that are both fighting to be the "#1 child"

the irony here is that VERIZON already has that title, and ATT is whining about it.

there is NO way this lawsuit can go anywhere. the entire ad states "3G" coverage. nothing to do with voice coverage.

ATT is sad. it's true, they know their 3G network sucks in comparison. hell I think T-Mobile's 3G network is almost if not larger by now then ATT...

what you really need to take from this is three things

The Droid has AT&T scared? Are you freaking kidding me?

AT&T doesn't like the fact that Verizon has the temporary title of most customers (Verizon and AT&T have switched this title among each other a few times within the past few years) but it is definitely not scared of the Droid.

You do realize that the iPhone has that huge Apple advertising machine behind it right? You realize that the iPhone has the iTunes app store behind it right? While most of us know that the Droid is going to be a better device than the iPhone, don't be absurd and think that will hurt the iPhone in any way.

Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Symbian all have dozens of phones out there that make up their share of the smartphone marketshare but you have ...

The iPhone is a cool media device but it is not that great of a phone. You can't argue with its success though, it is a tremendous success story in the wireless industry.
