alot of that depends on what the network coverage is in your area. i port people from att and verizon to sprint all the time- and equally have cust. trash talk every carrier.
...Which is exactly my point. I wont say which carrier I currently work for but I have at one point or another sold all but T Mob. Customers in this industry talk bad about each and every carrier and are never satisfied. So to the original respondant, people talkin bad about Sprint is not the reason they are in such a bad position.
I once had a customer with VZW, I asked how happy he was with them and he said "I can't stand them." When I asked why, he said "I keep dropping calls where I work."
Here's the kicker:
When I asked why he stay's with them, he said "they have the best coverage."
People are so sucked in by the hype that they will ignore things that can be better for them.
someone please answer this question.
and if sprint IS going out of business is because ya giving it a bad name. you probably were dropped for something as simple as not paying your bill
I had Sprint for over 5 years and worked for them for 2. I have not one complaint and I always had cutting edge equipment. However the facts are that in the first 2 quarters of this year Sprint lost customers while AT&T and VZW added. The name of the game is to increase revenue and add customers...Period!!
BTW Ive been in the wireless industry over 12 years...Cant remember the last time I had a phone bill..
until sprint is down to like 3 mill then thats something to worry about..

I've been with Cingular since January of 02 AT&T didn't give me any problems during the merger.
