Page Plus Drops Unlimited Plan to $40
Why don't all of us turn to prepaid providers?
...you end up paying a lot more for a phone that can only work in certain areas.Well, yes, part of the monthly charges (MRC) in a postpaid plan are due to the phone subsidy, about $5-8/mo. But other than that, no, PagePlus is a NATIONAL PLAN, on Verizon's native network. So it works across the US also... (not int'l though, but of course most AT&T plans don't include int'l usage either...)

All you have to do is tell them you want international roaming at the store, or call 611. There is no charge for it.
In any case this is off topic, but what is on topic, like them or not, cdma or gsm this is one great deal.

The big companies are making easy money because they don't have to service these custies...
Get real.
I swear if there were an unlimited national carrier that had quad band GSM and dual band HSPA that roamed off of AT&T's network I would leave AT&T. I like my Nokia
N95-3 way too much. But I have a total of 3 lines on my acct, 2 of which are in Ct.
I read a news headline a while back that supposedly MetroPCS is going to have an LTE network.
They are doing record port ins from other "national" companies. Last I heard five to six million subs, or more. Out of Toledo, Ohio. I think they are VZW's largest reseller. Privately owned too.
