Sprint's Hesse: Pre Shortages Likely
Line like the Iphone/halo release?
Can anyone see a line backed up like the Iphone or the Halo video games? That would bring the attention that sprint needs. But then because its a new phone, the other carriers will pay media outlets and critics to expose the glitches and draw the attention to the glitches of the phone rather then the pro's to keep sprint from really getting a benifit. so thats what sprint better be worried about is fighting the press and critics

i doubt it will have lines like the iphone or halo...those things are ridiculous...people sleeping outside for days...i def dont see that....maybe 10 or 20 people as appose to 10's of thousands that sleep outside for halo and the iphone

Look at it this way, on the day Sprints Samsung Instinct launched there were lines (more than 10, 20 people), the Palm Pre is a Goliath compared to the Instinct. I know of a lot iphone owners who say the iphone is a good device, but they are fed up with At&t's crappy network, thus reducing the iphone to an ipod. They plan on switching to the Pre.
