Aren't they Public airwares no? This probably is affecting mostly seniors who are on a fixed budget with cable/satellite being out of the question. And considering how bad the economy is and how much in toilet investments are cutting back on cable/satellite which is not a necessity is not a bad idea. Though I agree with you that the show must go on, it amazes me of the attitude toward people who feel that everyone should have cable and/or satellite. Hell most of the good shows on tv comes on free tv (Heroes, the Office, Two and a Half Men, 24, Prison Break, etc.)
