Not the same T-Mobile

It seems like T-Mobile is straying away from its niche market. With al la cart text prices being increased by T-mobile for the second time in year and half, it certainly indicates that they are going away from the low cost vendor identity. With T-mobile still lacking a 3G network and spotty coverage, what is the advantage to this carrier. Didn't Virgin Mobile just lower their text rates to a penny?

i mean besides the fct tmobile offeres the lowest rates and now unlimited home phone now for 10$ a month an that whole 7 years in a row #1 in customer care. not to mention how much money tmo saves people with my faves, an hotsot calling. you say spotty coverage.... please show me a carrier that doesnt have it i live in ATL an carry a at&t phone as well as tmo and my at&t never works always has 0 bars..... which is funny cause i dropped verizon an went with at&t cause of the dropped calls/reception thought i was making an improvement WRONG!!!! And as soon as the government gets off there spectrum 3g will actually go up for them. personally i find lots of reasons to choose tmobile!

C'mon crackberry we all know that everything should be free. Texting should be free and the brand new smart phone should be free. If I drop that cool new phone in the crapper I should get one for free, in fact you should pay me to stay with you. T-Mobile should snap their fingers and make a big pile of cash appear for the upgrades to the network. Nevermind that they paid alot of money for their 3G spectrum already, then had to wait. People just have this strange sense of entitlement and we should just give them everything with out reciprocation.

Who does this really effect? Most people who do text messaging already pay for the bundle packs. Only the few people who do a couple text a month to their kids.

Plus our 3g will be fully rolled out by fall so yeah we are getting better.

I don't doubt what you were told,we all were. Educate yourself as to why there is an issue, and realize that is not the carriers fault. If it was up to T-Mobile they would have the 3G up and running everywhere right now.

The government has decided to take its sweet time to get off the spectrum that will be used to power T-Mobile's 3G network (surprise, they take forever to do ANYTHING nowadays). Got a problem with waiting? Take it up with the government. ๐Ÿ™„

I, for one, have no problem with waiting, as I am a happy T-Mobile customer, and am not one to call and complain that I'm not getting a free BlackBerry and free service for a month because "I've been a 'great' customer for years and I was misinformed about 3G being up today when it will be up tomorrow".

Should T-Mobile pay for your gas too, as well as force the government to get off the spectrum or they'll "vote for the other guy"?

God, I should lay off the coffee... ๐Ÿคจ
