If Cricket is launching their AWS 1700 network next month, how come T-Mobile still hasn't launched 3G in this market as well? Obviously the spectrum is now free so I wonder what the delay is.
...
🙄
Because there are bigger markets where 3G will be more effective. I.E. New York City and Seattle.
Could more people complain about T Mobile's 3G roll out? Seriously. 🤨
...
to be fair the other big 4 other carriers only have a 3.5 year head start on them... even cricket, a mid size regional carrier, has had 3g for almost a year now in some areas.

Sprint launched it's 3G network in 2002.

umm no they didn't.

Not to be rude, but for the millionth time, Sprint, Alltel, Verizon, US Cellular, ect. are CDMA carriers, they DO NOT have 3G, they have a similar thing called EVDO and EVDO Rev. A

CDMA2000 (which includes both 1xRTT and EVDO) is 3G.

Correct rawmustard Tmobile reps are just having a hard time right now especially since our pay checks have been a lot fatter from our data sales 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
...
This is true. I work for Att and all the other carriers only have CDMA. We just finished that lesson in class last week. 😁
...
Okay. Lets clear something up. *sigh*
I would hardly call 1xRTT a 3G network. 1xEV-DO sure.
"This is true. I work for Att and all the other carriers only have CDMA. We just finished that lesson in class last week."
No. T-Mobile is GSM as is at&t. Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, Cricket, and US Cellular are all CDMA.
Suncom is also GSM, but was recently bought by T-Mobile.
...
No att is not cdma. We are 3G. Our new technology is UMTS
...
I didn't say at&t is CDMA, I said:
"T-Mobile is GSM as is at&t"
If you don't know that at&t uses GSM technology, you probably shouldn't be working for them.
...
Whatever smartass I misread your question.
...
Isnt Tmobile about to buy Sprint?
...
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Tmobile just sucks who really cares where there 3G is
...
