Cricket Communications announced that it will launch its wireless phone and internet services in Las Vegas beginning on May 13. Cricket offers cell phone service for flat rates and does not require contracts or credit checks. The company will set up eight of its own retail shops in the Las Vegas area, and will also have service available through 100 other authorized dealers. Cricket is planning a series of competitions and events in Las Vegas during the week of May 13 to celebrate the launch of its presence in the new market.

Where's T-Mobile's 3G???

If Cricket is launching their AWS 1700 network next month, how come T-Mobile still hasn't launched 3G in this market as well? Obviously the spectrum is now free so I wonder what the delay is.
๐Ÿ™„

Because there are bigger markets where 3G will be more effective. I.E. New York City and Seattle.

Could more people complain about T Mobile's 3G roll out? Seriously. ๐Ÿคจ

Cricket people

Great,

So now all of the white trash crack heads that use Cricket can gamble while talking on their crappy phones.

That is of course, if the casino's will allow them to trade in their welfare checks for poker chips.
This is completley unrelated to Cell Phones, and is just here to provoke a response out of others, your post has been reported.
