Indian Company Offers to Buy Motorola's Handset Unit

...I hope that Motorola declines this offer. Despite their obvious current lack of innovation and struggle to turn a profit, Moto has always been able to pull through somehow. I would hate to see an iconic American company go the way of selling out to another which I have never even heard of.

I really am pulling for Motorola to make a turn-around now that their Handset Unit is independent of their Wireless and IP Solutions Unit. All they need to do is inject a little bit more money into their R&D department and develop another competitive handset line (or two or three...) that would take the industry into a new direction, like the RAZR undeniably did four years ago.

Moto: the RAZR design is as good as it gets...spend your money elsewhe...
