Why can't we do both?

What if your battery lasted 20 times as long as it does now?

If it meant that every three months I had to walk in to my local phone store and pay for a blast of hydrogen, then so be it.

well that'll be a bad news for battery manufacturers since they're purposely making short lasting batteries so that consumers like us buy more and more.

Yep, and also why we dont have electric cars. the damn oil companies steal their patents to make real long lasting efficient batteries. damn them all.

life sucks because of them. 😡 there should have been a lot of improvements right now if only that they're not trying to monopolize everything.

dont blame the oil company, blame ourselves. we dont demand these things so its our fault for letting them get that far. this about it, we had hydrogen cars and powercell cars since the 60's but it cost too much so we demanded more gas powered cars because it was cheaper, now we are stuck in this situation because we havent demanded new technology. thats whats going to happen with cell phones. we are the consumer not the inventors. if we DEMAND it, they will give it to us.....

Purposely?! Ha Ha! Now that's funny. I've never had to buy a new battery due to it just not working anymore. Hell, no one should have to. Battery's are a waste of money, you might as well just buy a new phone. Is it really that hard to just charge your phone every night? Maybe purchase a car charger? How often do you have to charge your Laptop? I'd say a lot more often than your cell phone, but no one really complains about that, because that's the way it is. Deal with it. 🙂

oh come on who says no one complains about that. i've been doin' the same thing for so many damn years and there was so very little improvement. gadgets now far exceeds the life of their batteries and these crappy batteries couldn't keep up. i'm still carrying a regular battery plus an extended battery just for my phone alone and just imagine how incovenient that is. don't tell me i have to keep this up for the rest of my life. if you're fine with that then that is your choice but people like me who wants to improvements on their lives we ask and we fight for what we deserve and we deserve better since we're paying a good sum of money. hard earned money to be exact!

You're right, and I'm not against improved batteries at all. I can't wait for the day we see the new technology because I'm just tired of people complaining about it. Until something better comes out, we just have to do with what we've got. I'm sorry sir, I don't have a magic wand that will improve your battery life. It just seems that everyday I hear someone complain to me about their battery life. Arguing with me over the matter will not do anything to improve your battery. Just wait it out. 😁

well you are right also. arguing won't do anything and thanks for understanding. if they could come up with a nuclear powered devices i would really really appreciate it. (except for the hazards and complications it brings hehehehe)

sayy if i remember correctly hydrogen fuel cells need to have an exhaust port for water that comes out the other end dont it? not good for cell phones and you'd always have a wet pocket! 👀

There's not that much exhaust. For something the size of a cell phone battery, it would hardly even rate as humid air, really.
