Nokia Plans 6-12 New Phones for U.S. in 2008
wow, Verizon

That's ok really, coming from Nokia unless it's an N Series handset, it's not all that impressive.
EXACTLY and Verizon cripples their phones so much that it would be a waste of money to buy any N Verizon branded series. I don't think Nokia will make those phones for VErizon and be forced to use VErizon GUI and cripple the phone,
Verizon will get the low end line.
I know better than to be with Verizon,...lol!!!

Well, whatever, I have the unlocked pure straight from the manufacturer N95-3, and it works great on AT&T's 3G network!

As do I. I had the N95 and sold it for the N82.
I found out recently that the N82 has a lens cover over it, how profoundly intelligent of Nokia to do that!!!!!!
Does that N82 have a 3.5mm headphone jack like the N95?
The indoor flash rivals my wife's Panasonic SD700Is camera. The GArmin is frigging amazing.
In the end prefered a slimmer phone since Im a pocket carrier. I like the keys better as well. The lens cover starts the phone. No more pocket photos. LOL. Also has two cameras One on front and the big one on back. The phone is a great BT web canm as well.
Its the same phone with very few refinements.
But you definetly have me sold on the thinner more compact part, that's for sure. But then again, isn't the display on the N95 quite a bit bigger? I enjoy a big display.
But you definetly have a point about the N82's over all smaller size, that's for sure. Personally, I don't really keep my phone in my pocket, I have a horizontal case that I keep on my belt.
By the way, you should check out a website called: www.n95users.com
It's a very, very resourceful website!
I will check out that site, Thanks
Maybe the low end "free" stuff. Certainly not the best Nokia has to offer.

I said IF they made a CDMA phone it would not be the N95 or N82 It would be low end....There ya go.
Or you could go to engadgetmobile and read about the CDMA nokia handset thats launching soon..
BUUUUUT that would take more information than you currently have, so youll just misinform people and everyone will think you know what youre talking about.

LOL its going to be a low end phone. Certainly not am N series.
I don't want or need a phone that does everything. If I need internet access and email, I have a computer for that. If I need an mp3 player, I have an iPod. For pictures, I have a digital camera. And last, but not least, if I need directions how to get somewhere, first I know how to read maps and keep the local maps in the car and second, if I'm lazy, I have a TomTom One XL-S. I want and have a phone that works reliably on a Verizon Network that still works in rural areas (AT&T and T-Mobile mostly do not) and makes and receives calls. It's a phone after all and making and receiving calls is a primary feature. It ...
