Makes me wonder..
Verizon Wireless and LG are very good friends. Makes me wonder if this was intended to happen to Sprint so they could loose customers and VZW have a shot on gaining some customers.. Just something that came to my mind.

Very good conspiracy theory! LG and VZN are so much in bed together, it makes you wonder why LG would want to work with any carrier. To make things worst, LG has some seriously bad management at certain levels, so I really cannot see them and Sprint seeing eye to eye on everything, especially when they bend over backwards for VZN, and drag their feet with everyone else.

I don't think it is that. I think Sprint has some 90 year old man sitting in some basement picking the worst possible phones to add to their network.
Sprint has better and faster access and uses Java, but Verizon keeps getting better phones. It's just not fair. Why offer such powerful phones on a network that won't let you use most of the features? Verizon cripples EVERYTHING! And BREW is just horrible. Fire the 90 year old man and hire someone that knows what customers will like.
At least we get free Verizon roaming. So that helps me deal with the lack of good Sprint phones. For now.

Sprint does do a decent job with smart and pda type phones, and I agree, they seem to like using mediocre products when it comes to phones that more then just standard features.
