Pricing and availability information is not available yet for the 755p, XV6800 or SMT5800.
So what's new we already knew about these phones, thanks verizon for all the info 🙄
...
LoL, the 755p and 6800 are already on Sprints network and have been for quite some time. The 755p goes for 249.99 and the 6800 is at 299.99. Hopefully with some competitive pricing, Sprint will have to lower these prices to match whatever VZW comes out with.

But is Sprint mandating a minimum $80 charge per month? No. Their data is just as good, it's cheaper, and without the 5GB cap. I have a pocket PC phone and a Smartphone that are $15 each for unlimited data. That's still better than VZW's $44.99 per one line, 5GB. I will give Verizon this, though: they allow MMS on their PDA/smartphones, when the other CDMA carriers don't, requiring you to e-mail pics and vids, unless you get a hack for it.
...
The reason why VZW data is so expensive is that its all ran by a microsoft server (which is also why you can do MMS) but Sprint won't pay the outragouse fees to Microsoft so that they can keep that $15 unlimited access fee.
...
Please explain your theory in more detail. Exactly what part of VZWs data network is controlled by a Microsoft server?
I can tell you for a fact that Microsoft does not even participate in the cellular data network realm and neither do they have any MMS offerings.
Please enlighten me some more....

You sir are WRONG. Not to mention that PPC phones on Sprint can be hacked to support MMS. It is VERY easy to do... so it really is a mystery to me as to why Sprint just doesn't put it in.

To SprintPCSGuy: Are you referring to my post? I would guess not since your statements don't make sense in conjunction with my statements.

No, he was speaking to me I think. And, in which case, I am wrong. Sorry but I was thinking of SMS on Microsoft Exchange Server but its SMS is for loading a computers hardrive on a network as a native drive.
As far is why you can do it on VZW and not on Sprint, its due to there MMS setup. The hack will allow it to work but only 60% of the time. I have some co-workers who have Sprint's Mogul (aka 6800) and constantly have issues sending it with that hack.
As far as the difference in the setup for MMS goes I asked one of my friends at Sprint to find out. He told me that, and its only a guess, that to use the MMS feature on Windows Mobile devices you have to pay Microsoft. Its kinda like if you want to digitally sign a driver for ...

It still works for me, either way. How hard is it to put an e-mail address in?
...
You mean accessing the e-mail via POP3 or SMTP (I think thats what its called, I only use POP3)?
...
I try to use Imap when accesible. But on my Palm Centro, I don't have to do all that. All I do is click on Sprint Email, put my username and password in, and I'm good to go. On my Q, my second line, is where I have to put all that pop/imap stuff in.

stop repeatin what you heard at the bar by some guy whose computer doesn't work any more and blames it on microsoft.🤣
