Back when VZW had the E815 I went through no less than 8 of them due to shoddy build quality, displays going black, hinges failing, creaky poor tactile feeling, just plain poor quality, same with Q also....pure $hit.

Agreed. Not only is the manufacturing moving there, but also the development (India / China). Quality (hardware and software) is not something that can be fixed by throwing a large quantity of cheap labor at. Hopefully the money they save on labor is worth the customers that they lose due to these issues.
