when I had Sprint, the guy who sold me said call customer care ANYTIME with ANY QUESTION! I'm glad they feel 25+ calls a month is too much! "How to kill a company" starring Sprint...

Dude, 25 calls in one month is already too much. When that's your AVERAGE for a period of six months or longer, that's just ludicrous. That's literally calling customer service every single day (except on Sundays when I'm sure they're in church) for a period of six months. What problems or questions could you possibly have that require that?

All Sprint is doing is saying, "Hey, we realize that we cannot serve your needs, therefore we are removing ourselves." Good luck to the next customer service department that has to deal with these people.

And "killing a company" would be to continue devoting time and resources to customers who are obviously not satisfied and are not bringing you a profit. It is much wiser and more finan...

Then it's a good thing you're not a C.E.O of a company or they'd be in trouble. You'd want to support the customers that are costing you thousands of dollars per month when they're only paying you a $100 per month. Real intelligent.

I'm not GREEDY enough to be a CEO!!!

And don't reply saying CEOs deserve every penny. NOBODY deserves billions, and billions of dollars, absolutley nobody!!!

If they weren't making so much money, everyone else could easily make $100,000 a year.

I am customer service oriented. Everything a business becomes, they become because of the customer.

You obviously don't believe in customer service.

are you familiar with the concept of "profit"?

Customer service isn't possible if you're constantly bowing to needs that put you at a loss financially.

I'm not saying drop a deuce on the customer, but if people would pay a listed price and not whine about taxes and activation fees and late fees (when they're the cust. fault), then none of this would really be an issue.

You're living in a fantasy dream world. No profit means you go out of business. Customer Service is NOT giving a customer everything they want. It's about respect, professionalism, and courtesy, etc. I especially know what these things are because of what I do in the wireless industry. What you're not understanding is these customers were causing a huge financial loss in Sprint and they had every right to cancel their service because of it. Their stock isn't going to drop because of this. You're an idiot if you think a company can just bow down to whatever a customer says and not stay profitable. Think about what you're saying before you say it and do some actual research on it before you spout off. That way, you won't look or soun...

And you have obviously never worked in a retail job or you would know that there is a large amount of the population that lie, cheat and say anything to get their own way. What makes them any different from these "rich CEOs" that you have such a vendetta against?

I won't even touch your ridiculous statement about everyone making $100,000 a year.

Jayshmay your an idiot. They aren't making money off these customers. Why would they keep them. 25 calls a month is uncalled for. Your probably one of these customers, and thats why your pissed about it. Oh and BTW the stock increased!!

It is not clear to me that they were canceled because of the average number of calls, or all those customers were flagged as total bastards for more specific reasons and Sprint merely noted the average number of calls in the press release as the simplest example of what a pain they were.

I've a feeling this is for "special" circumstances...and Sprint IS able to cancel service as they see fit.

If you abuse the relationship, you deserve what you get.

You are obviously an uninformed and naive individual. Yes, 25 calls a month is ridiculous. Obviously these people getting drop-kicked have nothing better to do then abuse the system. Good riddance! 🤣 BTW, the company won't be out of business by dropping 0.001% of it's worst customers.

i don't understand the big problem. If i had a contract with a company that i was so unhappy with that i had to call on average 25 times a month i would be singing and dancing to learn that not only are they letting me break my contract but they are also paying my final bill with them so i can find someone i'll be happy with. I think that is great customer service. Of course if i was calling on an average of 25 time a month there probably isn't a company that can make me happy or that will want to put up with me and perhaps that is what is really bothering. No more late fees credited every month because i can't send the bill on time, no more free data service because i refuse to add the plan or block the service but still use it then dispu...
