what the hell 😕
*The VZW PN-820 supports the Wireless Headset, Handsfree, Stereo (A2DP) Bluetooth Profiles. It does not support all Bluetooth Object Transfer (OBEX) Profiles. See Bluetooth for details.
I know this is like beating a dead horse, but why the hell would they block bluetooth on a windows mobile phone, but allow some file transfer profile sfor say the 8600-9900. I just don't understand them sometimes

Way to go Verizon... Kill another potentially good phone dead and this time you didn't even have to use your UI on the phone... 🤣 🤣 🤣
...
Don't be a hater. We all know that there is always way to enable those functions.
...
it should be there in the first place...
...
Hey I love Verizon but I am complete agreement with you on that one. Block a phone,...ok use the gin excuse, but to block a smartphone is just stupid
...
who told yall they block all the features this will come fully loaded trusted me 😳
...
fyi this phone does support bluetooth dial up networking and bluetooth activesync. frankly untel you start seeing more phones with bluetooth 2.0 (this phone has 1.2) who cares 1.2 has a max throuput of 144k so if you use bluetooth dial up networking its slower than evdo 400-700k speed. I also think its alot safer and faster to send pix and files over verizon's network that over bluetooth or use the free usb cable that comes with the phone
...
Please re-read. It says that it won't support ALL OBEX profiles. That means that it will have some OBEX ability.
...
but not all, like the other PDA phones.
...
I appreciate the definition of the word some. I really do not understand what point you are trying to make as I have the 6700 and am able to transfer music, office docs, ringtones, apps, and pix.
What else is there?
...
all pda's besides the blacberrys and this offer (ftp) file movement profile. Your 6700 has it this phone does not, check out the functionality chart. You gain vcard and stereo headset support but loose file movement. You get calaneder and phone book only.
Pure Crap

I'm not disputing what it specifically can or can't do. Just stating that some OBEX profiles on this device are enabled.
