HAHAHA!!! ok so here it goes i worked for both at&t wireless and cingular both b4 and during migration. The crazy **** you should know....and sadly prolly get ready for it again if you are with cingular wireless. When cingular snatched up at&t it prolly seemed like an ok deal for at&t customers. At&t customers would have a wider coverage. What we were instructed to do was cut off all handset upgrades for at&t wireless. Then cut off their plans from upgrading. I was on both siebel support teams and telligence. I had sooo many calls from at&t ( cingular blue customers ) about ever since cingular came into the picture the signal just wasnt as strong for the handsets. This is true because cingular was on a higher format then at&t wirless. Now some towers they were able to upgrade with the patch but most were just f**ked!!! Cingular came in and basicly took away from at&t customers....after which we would corner them by never allowing them to upgrade change features or plans. They were stuck. They had no choice but to migrate over to cingular. I had to see alot of people on at&t plans lose out on great plans because ......lets say they had a family plan with 4 lines. Their child broke their phone. Well now they had to take all those lines over to cingular because they would not allow for that one phone to be replaced. You could be left with out that line and still pay for it or be hit with a quad cancel fee. Thats right people $150 x 4....pretty f**ked and most of these plans were not better then cingulars. They had no choice........there is soooo much i could tell you all and prolly will but this will have to do for now
