GRRRR!!!
This is so cool!!! I really want this phone. The SK3 has everything I want and more. I love my SLVR but at the same time I want this phone. If there were no such things as contracts then there would be no cancellation fees!!! If the fee wasn't $175 then I would be the first one at the T-mobile store on the SK3's release date. Ohhh how I want this phone!!!

You still can be one of the first ones to own the SK3! Without makeing any changes to you cingular account! Purchase the SK3 outright from the t-mobile shop(~399.99 retail), then get the unlock codes from a 3rd party unlocking company over the internet! Yes! Bring your credit card! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Not that simple sir...Danger has their own servers and they are exclusive to T-Mobile...
He who buys and doesn't use Danger/T-Mobile for data/voice gets no service for SK3...

T-mobile and Suncom.
Suncom is also a Danger customer. The SK3 isn't being announced for it yet AFAIK. But, like the others, it probably will be soon.

Suncom and Fido, will not get the Hiptop 3 until the end of the year. T-Mobile has an exclusive on it.
And what they meant was that you can't the Hiptop/Sidekick device and buy and use it with another carrier other than the one its meant for. The devices are built to connect to a specific APN and carrier which the Danger servers are located at.

I know. I was just pointing out that Suncom will also offer the product at some point as well.

If there were no contracts and no cancellation fees there would be no subsidizing prices and you'd be paying $400+ for the phone anyway.
