Sidekick 2.5

This isnt really an upgrade to me its just a new casing with the same internal stuff with a music players and edge meh. 😕
I am mad that the screen wasn't upgraded to atleast 262K colors.
It also has a 1.3 megapixel cam and a removable memory card.. Danger doesn't give you too much space to store pics, you can get a memory card with up to 2GB of space.. plus its lighter, and it has a trackball that makes things much easier.. believe me...

I don't see why Danger/Sharp doesn't create a CDMA version of the Hiptop.

Hiptop + EV-DO = Killer combo.

T-Mobile's data is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW.
Probably due to the whole "this is our flagship device, no you can't sell it to other carriers in the US unless you had pre-arranged contracts" thing that T-Mobile has with Danger. Exclusive contracts = awesome.

T-Mobile's data is EDGE & works just...

Feals kinda cheap

Holding it right now in my hand and it feals prtty cheap. The replacement for the scroll wheel (track ball) is nice but takes some getting used to. Very small compared to the SK2 but screen is exactly the same so pictures don't come out that great.
Where did you get your hands on a Sidekick 3/ Hiptop 3/ Sharp PV-200?

Seriously, who cares about this cheesy device and the crappy T-Mobile service. This device is HUGE, ugly and when people use it as a phone they look so foolish holding this huge thing to their ear.

$300

The sidekick 3 is a great phone but disagree with the price of it. I heard that sidekick 2 owners will be able to get a 100 discount with the trade of SDK2 for current tmobile customers. Might this be true. Thanks
$300 is garbage.. esp when you have to fork out an extra $50 a month to take full advantage of all its features (dont quote me on that price). They should drop it to near free if you subscribe to their data plan on a 2 year... anyone else pissed abou...

GRRRR!!!

This is so cool!!! I really want this phone. The SK3 has everything I want and more. I love my SLVR but at the same time I want this phone. If there were no such things as contracts then there would be no cancellation fees!!! If the fee wasn't $175 then I would be the first one at the T-mobile store on the SK3's release date. Ohhh how I want this phone!!!
You still can be one of the first ones to own the SK3! Without makeing any changes to you cingular account! Purchase the SK3 outright from the t-mobile shop(~399.99 retail), then get the unlock codes from a 3rd party unlocking company over the interne...

If there were no contracts and no cancellation fees there would be no subsidizing prices and you'd be paying $400+ for the phone anyway.
