😳

technology keeps on changing. big mistake to produce a phone with the older existent technology. How long it's the contrat? a month? NO ! it's a 2 years. in too years you will own a dinosaur. So think about it !....

if you are warning that cellular technology and standards are changing, then i assume you are basically recommending that people don't buy any gsm phone since networks are moving to umts? despite this evolution, gsm networks will be around for quite some time. in addition, the e61, though it does have umts, has umts 2100 which will not work in the US. neither phones are 3G enabled for the states.

what is more confusing is that you append a pro t-mobile tagline to your post when t-mobile only has gsm. i'm confused. are you recommending no one buy any gsm phone, and supporting a gsm only carrier? or is it the lack of wi-fi in the e62 that you think makes it obsolete?

I do understand the fact of GSM to be around and been one of the most use technology World Wide such as the name remarks.

I don't understand, how nokia can come up with a phone without WIFI and High Speed Data transfer. I am not promoting my company as you might be promoting HondA.

T...-MOBILE has nothing to do with this. I have been in business for a while. I could say t-mobile it's one of the few companies to present quality phones for professionals in the run. Example: Our version of V3 comes with full bluethooth, what did verizon had to say about this? this is a lack of revenew, the phone only does handfree. Hmmmm ,buy a new automobile and use a Verizon phone with blueetooth.

Bottom line? our product has video and full data tr...

Gsm wont disappear...

If verizon stills uses CDMA why would GSM would dissapear.

My whole concept its simple:

" Why would you produce a phone similar to the blackberry ? with nothing different than the blackberry? " that was my whole POINT. Simple and ease.

Absolute, yes... ! PEOPLE on the go needs wi-fi, simple as that. Why would you invest in a phone who doesn't have wifi? So your neighbor can come up with one with wifi? come on , give me a break . We are in the 2006, you don't go around the FCC asking for a phone without wifi. Hello? If this phone was meant for kids, WOW . GREAT phone. For a professional? No Thank you, SUCKS !

i WONT spend 300 - 500 dollars in a 2 year contract with this type of phone. If you guys are wi...

latin81, there are a number of difference that separate the e62 from the blackberry. first off, it uses the latest version of series 60 software, not blackberry software. s60 is more user friendly, and offers a virtually unlimited 3rd party software library.

additionally, if you demand wi-fi from any phone, there is a version of this phone with wi-fi - the e61. rich offered this as an alternative in a separate thread. however nokia undoubtedly pulled wi-fi and 3g and all the email server sync software from the e62 in order to bring the price WAY down. it is unlikely this phone will sell for anything near 300-500 dollars, especially with a subsidy.

i realize it's unlikely this will change your mind, and i honestly am not trying to sel...

Gee, guess we can tell you work for T-Mobile and that maybe T-Mobile may not get this phone.

So, either you're jealous, or just plain negative. Either way, it's a phone/pda, big deal. Who cares, and phones will always get improved on, new ones made, as long as people talk on a landline, or cell.

Stop the complaining, and start living.
