T-mobile Always gives you more.
if you are warning that cellular technology and standards are changing, then i assume you are basically recommending that people don't buy any gsm phone since networks are moving to umts? despite this evolution, gsm networks will be around for quite s...

Gee, guess we can tell you work for T-Mobile and that maybe T-Mobile may not get this phone.

What is with the negativity?

😢

I've had T-Mobile, which had barely any coverage in my area, and yes, the phone deals are great, but you don't always get QUALITY.

Cingular is neck and neck with Verizon on it's reliability for service. Phones though, even when they all seem to have the same models, Cingular has less issues with phones actually having a problem.

One manufacturer, Nokia, I've rarely had a problem with. My only issue is with their lack of variety in flip style phones. They otherwise are tough phones. GREAT battery life, etc.

With all the new Smart phones, or PDA/Phone combos, this one may actually be a good buy, depending on price, and which phone company acquires it.

So stop the negative till you've TRIED IT.

no Wi-Fi :(

I can understand removing the 3G part but why not keep in wi-fi 😢
I was gonna post the exact same message!

It's a shame they took away wi-fi. I so would have bought it for that. Now I'm not so sure.

why wi-fi???

why is everyone crying about not having wi-fi on this phone? with the exception of a small percentage of users, it's not important. this phone will and can appeal to a larger consumer base, not the small niche that may want it. Out of 50 to 60 phones i sell per month i may only get 1 or 2 people even asking about it. so, (as Rich and Eric said) it includes features that most people want at a lower cost. and the features that it includes are great features... and they are more the commonly used features at that.

This phone is a joke!

What a piece of crap! They took away all the best features. Why the heck would they do that?

When? When? When?

When?

😁

I think I want the E61.
the e61 (which was announced and approved earlier) should be available from online resellers within a week or two. i've seen it listing for 500-600 on various sites. i am not aware of when (or if) it will become available through a carrier.
