No, I'm not joking. Optional software update, my a$$. Take the 8100, for example. Version 06 of the software supposedly fixes the volume issue, the camera delay issue, as well as implements the VCast Music ability. And there is not 2 different versions of V06, so if I want to get the bugs fixed on the 8100, I also have to forfeit my ability to play MP3's. That is deceptive, at the very least. So, it is against the law to tell someone you are going to flash their phone in order to fix the bugs and then the person gets their phone back and it will no longer play MP3's as it had before the update. That IS against the law. This decision will cause an uproar.
