"MINI Bluetooth Headset: a tiny headset that fits inside the ear, with a microphone that picks up your voice through the ear canal. The tiny size sacrifices talk time, with only about 1.5 hours per charge."

7.5 hours not 1.5. So the MINI doesn't sacrifice talk time.

To clarify, 7.5 hours assuming you place it in it's portable base when not in use. So, if you're going to talk for 1.5 hours straight, yeah, that's the limit. But, when not in use, you would put it on it's portable base, kind of like a carrying case, which keeps the mini charged.

No, 1.5 hours is correct. It is not written very well so its easy to get confused. The 7.5 hours comes from using a portable charging device but I am not sure how that works.

So, the MINI does sacrifice talk time which is why is has a portable charging device. The key is understanding how this device works without a charging source, etc.

The portable charging device has it's own battery. The Mini is "docked" into this portable charging device (carrying case) when not in use to keep it's own battery charged to get you the 7.5 hours. It's like a two piece headset, where the mini is the only item needed for communication and the carrying case is used as a power station. The mini on it's own has a charge that will hold about 1.5 hours of talk time, but when used in conjuction with it's case which contains it's own rechargeable battery, it is extended to 7.5 hours of total use.

It is confusing because this is the only headset (that I know of) that uses this kind of configuration, thus making it so uniquely small unlike anything else available.

That's an interesting setup. Looking forward to seeing it in the marketplace.
