Second 3G RAZR Slips out of FCC
You're just orange with envy.
GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 and UMTS 2100 is what Europe uses.
UMTS in the US can't be on 2100 unles the goverment works to get that frequnecy free.

I was planning on just using my stock capacitors and particle emitters to modulate 2100 down to 450hz and run that on my nokia 0101
Sweet! Show us all how!

And it also won't be hard to make a small change to adjust it for US frequency use.
But until that happens we won't speculate.
You know as well as I do that they make the tri-band's operating in europe, and then they make the same phone with US capability. Every phone that has tri-band capability has the ability to have the 4th band to be enabled, whether it be 850 MHz for the US, or 900 for Europe.
YOU LOSE

I doubt it will be coming to the US.
Ok, so I have read this whole series of posts. Are you kidding me???? THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION APPROVED THIS PHONE!!!! That means it IS coming to the US. It just needs to be rebanded for use on the US networks. 🙄

The phone, as is, can work for T-Mobile. Just needs rebanded for Cingular.

And don't you think the FCC would need to retest/reapprove after the rebanding?
Not nearly as extensively. Could be done in a matter of a week or two.
