This seems a little sooner than I thought it'd happen. Very nice...Tmobile seems to be doing the things it needs to stay healthy in its niche.

Oh please. T-Mobile is doing because they dont have a choice. They have a lackluster phone selection as it is, coverage with holes than swiss cheese, they have no spectrum to deploy real 3G at the moment either.

They need to be sold. Cingular is what T-Mobile should have been.

Ignorance is bliss. Jump off the misinformation bandwagon and form some opinions of your own.

Yes, in fact, I found that T-Mobile users *can* roam in 850 areas if their handsets support it.

T-Mobile's coverage is no worse than Sprint's coverage. Plus, T-Mobile gives you great value for the dollar paid.

GSM networks are also exanding a lot faster than CDMA networks.

As for the comment...T-mobile has no wo worse coverage than Sprint..? Sprint has the largest footprint than any other carrier in the US..! I'll ezplain it like your a 6 year old...That means that you can use your sprint phone in more places throughout the U.S. than you can with any other carrier....Yes...it is true. It may be roaming...but if you had to make a phone call or someone had to get in touch with you...you would be able to use the phone. Know your network before making comments

Well, if you have to use another carrier's network, it isn't Sprint's network. Sprint's network is Sprint's network. Just because you can use Verizon Wireless towers with your Sprint phone does not make that tower Sprint.

It has been a parts of NYC for over a month. Now, does this mean that Tmo will enhance their selection of smartphones? The release only talked of blackberries and the stupid sidekick. When will Tmo get the 650 or 6515?

Since they are just starting to launch EDGE, give them time. Maybe before the end of the year. I said "maybe"!
