I've been on this site for a while and it seems anytime any phone (crap or not) is about to be released the boards are super active. But for some reason this phone gets no love.

It is almost impossible to find any decent info anywhere on the web about this thing. And unfortunately for me 👿 I want this phone more than any other phone I've waited for. F$%$$###!!!

I feel the same. I think it is a combination of things working against it: the launch of many other Smartphones and WM Pocket PC devises; including the Treo 700w, K-Jam and its variants, Imate SPm5, Cingular 2125, etc...etc...etc.

In addition, Motorola dissapointed many fans last year with the MPx (a.k.a. MPx300) when they kep on announcing that it was coming out for over a year to then scrap it quietly at the last second. Also a factor is that there is no Wifi or no fast Internet access, something most other Smartphones in the market have.

Thanks GSMGeek.

I think you're right on with all your comments. I was really hoping it would be out on cingular and verizon simultaneously. I heard the chipset for GSM phones was smaller than CDMA so it would hit cingular first.

I guess I would switch to VZW, but they are definitely the most expensive and they are a bit arrogant about their network being the best as well. Lately I can't tell the difference between cingular and VZ. Also the girlfriend is on cingular, so that is another 2-300 mins a month I would save by staying with cingular.

Guess I'll just wait a few more weeks or settle for the 700W and then upgrade with the Q comes out. I could probably sell the 700W on ebay for pretty good money if it was in new condition...

I read somewhere that Verizon will have the exclusive for 6 months. Remember that the version of the phone approved by the FCC is the CDMA (back in December). I don't really know if the GSM version has been approved already.
