Ouch i'd be sad if i bought this phone on verizon.... I mean Sprint, AT&T, and Even T-mobile is possible to get this upgrade a while ago.. Doesn't Verizon charge that "premium" service charge to their users for the "premium" service's they offer?

I still don't understand how complicated it is to update phones all at the same time. Wouldn't it be some code to alter for said carrier and then all is done? Hell, iOS updates are all done at the same time, no delays waiting for Verizon to get their ass in gear to pump out an update a few months later than everyone else.

Yea. Not sure. I wish i knew more about it. If anyone knows why it seems to take carriers sooo long to adapt the new updates I'd sure like to know. Maybe i'm just clueless but seems like this shouldnt be so hard..?

I can't find it now, but there was a look at the process to bring a phone to market for Sprint on Phonescoop a while ago. It showed how each phone requires a bevy of tests that span over a year before a phone is brought to market, and it also noted that each software update underwent the exact same tests by the carrier.

Most likely Verizon's stupid software had something to do with it. I don't care though. I'd rather wait a month or two later than be on a crap carrier like Sprint.

Yea Thats why i swapped to AT&T. Not sure why anyone would go to verizon against AT&T unless A.) They dont have LTE under AT&T or B.) They have to have that certain phone only Verizon has... That's just my opinion though..

Meant to send that as a response to Jellz, but got it mixed up. Who knows if this has any part of it, but for the #1 company to take longer to throw out the update that everyone else has is pathetic.

In other words alot of unnecessary red tape like branding. Now should we put Sprint on the front of the phone or back along the bottom lets vote on it. Then its on to carrier specific apps. Im sure this also affects the updates.
