Where on EARTH did you hear that? Everywhere I go on the internet I hear Verizon getting crapped on for being one of the first to adopt bad policies and the last to adopt good policies, the slowest at pushing upgrades/updates, the worst at gimping phones, and ruthless about data charges.
The only good things I ever hear about Verizon is that they have great coverage and good LTE. O_o
