LG, drop the "Optimus" name - It damages your product before it even leaves the gate...

Seriously, the Optimus line is synonymous with garbage.

Transformers was also so 2008.

Rename your product line, and make a statement with QUALITY that will redefine your company as a reliable tech manufacturer.

To be blunt, and honest with you LG, you've been making some pretty terrible products ( at least in the States), and you wonder why your mobile line is a disaster. The answer lies in the fact that you're trying to make a few quick bucks off of poorly designed products, with cheap displays, bug-ridden software and HORRIBLE battery life. Invest more money into products that bare your name, and actually be proud of what you made, instead of deeming it as "Acceptable" for the masses.

Props to your Tone Bluetooth tho...

I disagree I think the Optimus name stands out
I have owned a few of LGs devices never had any
issues with them except for poor battery life. I have
always replaced the oem battery with a extended battery
from amazon. Drooling Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So you've never used the Optimus One, the Optimus T or the Optimus V ? consider yourself lucky. Those phones were total crap. It really does ruin a good thing. A friend of mine got an Optimus Black (canada), I thought it would be the same old crap, but it's actuially a good, quality phone. Never would have thought though.

It's not that the Optimus line is the plague and you should avoid it at all costs - more like it's never been a name associated with a flagship device.

If LG is serious about making better devices, and playing with the big boys, then they need to drop the Optimus name, and try to repair the damage they've done to the consumer base that will honestly avoid this phone purely because of its name.
