The point is....once anyone found out the phone could not do what they thought it could, why not return it while they had a chance during the trial period?? That would have saved everyone all the drama. If VZW and/or Motorola said they would fix it later and that did not happen before the trial period was up, oh well, it was the consumers job to return it. Bottom line.
That is a very good point. The only flaw is that if enough people testify that they were told by verizon or motorola that there would be a "fix", then they could argue that verizon offered false promises to keep customers from returning the equipment and cancelling. That's how I would argue it, but I'm not saying the argument would prevail. We will see how good the lawyers are.
