I went into the verizon store today and was told by the store manager that the phone can indeed connect to your PC via Bluetooth and download and upload what you want.....

Maybe they have not heard but the phone has been disabled.

When I questioned him and showed him some of the info on the net he said they were wrong. I then further said then if this can be done show me.

He responded that he could not do this because there was no computer with bluetooth available to do it.

Aha I said and went to the car and brought in my PC with bluetooth. I then got alot of he can't do it because its against the policy of Verizon to tamper with my computer YADA YADA YADA.

He said I could take the phone home and try it and if it did not do what I wanted I was free to return it.

God Bless Verizon for the double talk bull**** that they seem to push.

The only bad part is that they have the largest network and I have used the others and I get no reception in places that I need it thus I have to stay with verizon. Maybe a congretional investigation should be done.

this is exactly what needed to be said to show what they are doing is wrong. Forget what you read in an advisory or about the capabilities of a product. Being falsely represented by a rep is RIDICULOUS. I work in the wireless industry and would never not show someone how to do something if they asked and it was avalable for me to show. Exactly why I know longer work there.
