Voice Dial vs Waving Phone Around to call people

Jan 13, 2005, 7:32 PM
Wow... Why would anyone want to waive their phone around to dial numbers when they can just say "John"... Me and my buddy were talking about what is next after the "video" phones.. and I guess the next cool thing is waiving your phone around....What do you guys think about the whole waive your phone?

I think that whoever uses that phone is gonna look like a retarded mime, and they're probably gonna get laughed at. I know i'll be laughing!! Laughing Laughing

I can see the applications for things other than dialing (i.e. txt msg, organizer, e-mail, etc...). However the waiving the phone around to dial may pose a problem while at the same time be very amusing. Though, I'm still curious if it will require over exagerated movements or if one could use it like a pencil.

it is the stupidest invention since Motorola

Haha, I gotta admit, Motorola is pretty stupid Wink

They've been around for how long? and havent managed to manufacturer a single phone as of yet. Or at least anything worthy of calling a phone. Best they could do is hold down paper, but something tells me they'd be horrible at that as well.
